About Zorba Buddha
creating Consciousness-Films
How about a Netflix of
Consciousness-Films?!
Namaste! Thank you for visiting this page!
My name is Zorba Buddha, a filmmaker by profession and I am here to make a proposition; in times when mindless āconsumptionā of dark content is rampant and considered the in-thing, I offer to make films on the luminous dimensions of life, letās call such films, āThe Consciousness-Filmsā. Ā
So, what is a Consciousness-Film? The way I see it, Consciousness-Films are those that question the old paradigm of being in the world and provoke us into conscious ways of living, films that offer a glimpse of the hidden possibilities in each one of us, films that really āinā-spire us (to go inwards), films that resonate with our being. Such films truly deserve, and justified to be called the āinā-thing!
In short, what I am proposing here is, āThe Netflix of Consciousness-Filmsā. Sounds audacious, too ambitious? Audacious it may be, ambitious it is not. Ā
Ā Itās a call of my heart and after over 21 years of being a filmmaker and a meditator (read āexplorer of consciousnessā), I find myself responsible and ready to share with you the world of Buddhas, the world of the Awakened Ones!
This brings us to my YouTube channelĀ Life of Zorba Buddha. The channel is a prelude to what is being proposed here. Many of the videos on the channel would be teasers of the documentaries/feature films I seek to make in coming years.
So here I am, about to make films/documentaries on my experiments with consciousness, my experiments with meditation techniques from the disciplines of Tantra, Tao, Zen and Sufism; films on various streams of Consciousness, and films on life and teachings of Mystics from around the World.
Does it ring any bell in your heart? If yes, I invite you to participate in this initiative. In the GOALS section of this page you will find details of the documentary I am presently working on. I am seeking funds for my documentaries as well, so if you are contributing to the documentary, please do mention it in the comment. Ā
Thank you so much! I am grateful for your kind support.
Love,
Zorba buddha
