Plotting Game

This is a look at the behind the scenes of a life of a writer. Every writer is different. Noone uses the exact same method. Here is the first part of my writing method, plotting.

Let's talk about Plot.

Plot is the bullet points on the story map. Hop in with the main character. Drive to why my life sucks valley. Fall down to yup this is worse ditch. Each plot point guides the story to the satisfying end.

I'm a plotter and love the structure. Not all plotters use the same map. Some writers don't even use a map. 😱 They write by the seat of their pants and are called pantsers.

Some authors don't think writing can be taught. James Scott Bell disagrees. Writing is a skill, and it can be learned. I prefer the structure of success of plotting. It is the science behind the art.

I love plotting so much, that my wishlist is mostly writing craft books. I like it so much, I want to be a developmental editor one day.

MRI classes start August 21st! I won't have a lot of time to write. I think I can make time to prefect my plotting skills. In the spirit of a true plotter, I plotted my plotting schedule.

The official Plotting Game begins December 17th.

Will I be able to plot a novel, every week?
