This video shows Roustam delivering a much sought after "Treasure Trove" for our boys of Ukrainian Homemade "SALO"
For those who don't know, and many Europeans won't understand it being so popular in Ukraine, Salo is a traditional Ukrainian dish of cured pork fat that's a national symbol and delicacy of the country.
You can just see the excitement and salivating at the thought of this delivery. I saw myself that the very first question of the guys we delivered to at each point on our route at the frontlines in Ukraine was "..excuse me but is there any Salo this week.."!
Every delivery and every item is photographed and videoed as it is handed over to ensure transparency with our Aid providers. This Salo came from Babushkas (Grandmothers) around the Rivne Region of west Ukraine; they make this every week for Roustam to pick up and take to their young men at the front. A big event for them when it arrives
