Its been a while.
To say the last few years have been quiet, easy or any of those things that equate to the "I'm Fine" response we all frequently throw out there when asked, would do myself and my Healing Journey a massive disservice.
Post Menopause, Living alone for literally the first time ever in my 49 years on this planet - navigating who I am now that I am not all the the faces and personalities that I have worn, willingly or not, has been..... Interesting.
But I can say that I am now (happily) in that place where I no longer will allow anyone to tell me what I CAN or CAN'T be, who I am, what I do.... Whether or not my REALITY is real. Too long spent second guessing what others expect of me and delivering a watered down, socially acceptable version of myself has wound up with me not knowing or appreciating the True Essence of the I in I Am.
In steps Chiron - for those who are not familiar with the Wounded Healer in Astrology, Chiron is the wound you must heal in yourself, the shadow you must embrace and intergrate and within your own healing, find the courage and grace to in turn heal others.
My Chiron is returning, he has been playing around in the energy of Aries for what seems like forever (5 freaking years so far!) so these themes of healing Self, knowing Self and exploring individuality have been popping up for me for some time.... However, Chiron is now also dancing a merry little jig with this upcoming New Moon Solar Eclipse at 19 Deg Aries before casually slipping into that 20th Degree where my Natal Chiron sits. Now, is indeed the time.
So with that being said, its not a reinvention that leads me here to this place, typing this post and upping my offerings to the world in the hope that they can make a small bit of difference - its a homecoming, a recognition of all the things I have always been... without the doubt. Sure I have greater confidence, but that confidence was always inside me....I just didn't trust enough to let it out.
