Bilt’s Rent Day is back on October 1st, and this month comes with the usual mix of redemption bonuses, free perks, and limited experiences.

⚖️ My Take

Honestly? The Amazon bonus is trash 🗑️.
Here’s why:

• Even at Platinum’s 50% boost, you’re only getting ~1.05¢ per point. Compare that to 2¢+ value you can get via Bilt’s airline & hotel transfer partners.

• The $5,000 cap means there’s no outsized play here anyway.

• This feels more like a convenience redemption than a true reward.

👉 The real play is still saving points for transfer bonuses. That’s where Bilt’s value lives. Rent credits and Amazon may feel tempting, but they’re leaving a lot on the table.

🔑 Final Thoughts

I honestly thought Bilt was starting to make some good changes 👀 — and there are things I’m excited to share in the future, especially around hotel status tie-ins (similar to what Chase did with transfer perks or Amex with Fine Hotels & Resorts).

But this month’s Rent Day feels very lackluster. It doesn’t show much appreciation for the folks who’ve been Bilt believers since the early days. Instead of offering outsized value, it feels like filler perks and weak redemption “bonuses.”

If you’re new to Bilt, Rent Day is still a nice perk. But for longtime members, it’s starting to feel like the program is coasting instead of delivering. I personally probably won't be engaged in Bilt Rent Day in the future anymore.
