MONDAY WISDOM – 3 November 2025
✍️ Riaan M. Odendaal
There is a moment where light stops moving outward
and simply stands.
Not to withdraw —
but to reveal.
Light does not persuade.
Light does not chase.
Light does not defend itself.
It stays in its appointed place,
and in its stillness,
everything else quietly arranges itself.
Those aligned with truth move closer.
Those needing noise drift away.
Not by punishment —
but by nature.
For there comes a time when goodness does not travel;
it holds ground.
Not to exclude,
but to honour what is true.
When the light stands still,
it is not refusing connection —
it is restoring order.
Some will recognise the clarity and remain.
Some will feel the stillness and leave.
Both movements are mercy.
Light does not ask, “Who validates me?”
It simply says,
“I am here.”
And whatever belongs to truth
finds its way home
without being pursued.
True light does not compete —
it clarifies.
