Knowing enough is a question about a decision

Two statements are true in this example: a replacement seminar link was sent, and the old link contained an error. The organizer now needs to decide what to do. Are those two facts enough?

It is enough to describe the attempted repair. It may be enough to investigate why the old link failed. It leaves the participant's present access open. The word "enough" changes meaning with the decision it serves.

Try naming the action before collecting another fact: accept access, continue correction, investigate the cause or finish contact under an agreed rule. Then ask which missing answer would lead you to choose differently.

That exercise gives uncertainty a purpose. It also helps protect useful work. An unanswered cause question can continue while a supported access result stands. A new report of failure can reopen the relevant part.

The example is deliberately small. Actual judgments of sufficiency depend on stakes, commitments and people's circumstances. Those conditions should travel with the conclusion when another person uses it.

A practical record could say, "Enough for this decision, on these grounds; this other question remains open." Such a sentence invites examination instead of demanding trust in confidence alone.

God and the Auditor explores how knowledge becomes part of continuing action. One entry into that inquiry is to ask what your claim of sufficient understanding is sufficient for. The next step is a question precise enough to make its possible answers consequential.
