From BOIS to "God and the auditor"

From BOIS to "God and the auditor"

I developed BOIS as the core of my work: a practical operating cycle for acting under incomplete knowledge.

BOIS began as a way to make reasoning more visible: attention, unknowns, questions, protocols, execution, experience, feedback, verified results, instructions, and the next act of attention.

Then I built MaOS — Master of Operational Settlement — as a playable demonstration of that structure. In MaOS, BOIS becomes a solo strategy RPG inside an AI chat: the player works with visible state, limited resources, risks, incomplete information, and consequences.

After that, the work moved deeper into philosophy.

I wrote a series of preprints on philosophical machines - philomas, - substrate physiology and accountable AI. These texts trace the path from the first idea of philosophical machines under incomplete knowledge toward a broader framework.

The current culmination of that path is the book "God and the auditor".

The book explains how a person, organization, or AI-supported system can act while knowledge is still incomplete, while keeping distinctions, evidence, responsibility, values, and real conditions visible.

Its introduction follows a clear operating path: choose what you are looking at, define its boundary and scale, identify what is missing, turn the important unknown into a question, test it through a protocol, execute a candidate solution, record what actually happened, filter experience through feedback, and turn verified results into instructions that can work again.

This is the BOIS cycle in book form.

The book calls these systems philomas because philosophy is built into their operation. A philoma makes basic distinctions operational: what exists in the calculation, what counts as knowledge, who acts, who accepts results, what risks guide action, what counts as closure, and how experience changes future work.

"God and the auditor" gathers BOIS, Pravda, M1/M3 and the research path into one public framework.

Support helps me continue this work: maintaining the book, documentation, translations, public examples, research notes, and future MaOS releases.
