About Yard Play

Yard Play is a new community space being created in Tooting for children, parents and carers to play, learn and connect together.

Our vision is simple: to create a welcoming place where every family feels they belong. A place filled with books, open-ended play, creativity, culture and community, where children can explore through play and adults can build friendships, access support and feel less isolated.

Alongside our permanent space, we'll run free community events in local parks, family workshops, story sessions, seasonal celebrations and activities that bring people together. We believe that strong communities are built when families have opportunities to connect, regardless of their income or background.

Yard Play is an initiative of Fam Foundation, a registered charity dedicated to improving the wellbeing of children and families through inclusive play, education and community support.
