My academic work focuses on education, linguistics and children’s literature, and includes scholarly articles and a research monograph.

I write books, paint, illustrate and photograph the places I travel through. Travel, mountaineering and rock climbing are also part of my life — and often become a source of new stories, paintings and photographs.

I take part in literary, educational and cultural projects, bringing together writing, art, research and education.

🐾 Animals have always been an important part of my life. I care deeply about animal welfare and have been involved in rescuing animals in need.

🌎 Svetlosophy is where I share reflections on literature and art, education and culture, childhood, creativity, travel, nature and the human experience.
