Hi, I'm Kevin — also known as Star Guy.

I’m a retired truck driver from Oregon who found a second calling in woodworking. Today, I create handcrafted 3D wooden stars made from reclaimed and vintage wood, giving old materials a new purpose while preserving their history and character.

Every star is cut, assembled, sanded, and finished by hand. Some celebrate patriotism, some honor service, and all are made with the belief that the best things in life are built with patience, care, and heart.

Along the way, you’ll find stories about raising my boys, life on the road, discovering woodworking, lessons learned through Scouting, my love for dogs, and the experiences that shaped both the craftsman and the person I am today.

Woodworking has become much more than a hobby. It’s given me a way to keep creating, to give back, and to honor the people and values that matter most to me.
