Whether it's writing about the frozen summit of Mount Washington, exploring fire towers and little libraries or running down obscure historical connections, you likely know me best by my addiction to coffee and cookies - pretty much the only fuel that resulted in 10 books, tons of articles, a bunch of short stories and near endless energy as I navigate New Hampshire, fatherhood, or writing too long sentences like this one.
My latest book with Uma is More NH Rocks That Rock, a second collaboration with the real creator in the family, ten-year-old Little Bean. We are planning two more Field Guides in the series, so, needless to say, I need lots of coffee!
