I recently painted this using a reference my followers picked out from a poll. I was honestly hoping they wouldn't pick this one because I knew it was going to be challenging and I was afraid of messing it up.
But I went for it anyway, and it turned out to be such a beautiful experience. It helped me become comfortable with trusting the process, I tend to be controlling and get frustrated when something doesn't look the way I intended it to.
I also suck at backgrounds, especially nature, so most of the time I was just trying to figure it out as I go and hoping it would look right in the end.ย
I'm really grateful to everyone who voted for that reference, it just makes me very happy looking back on it ๐ฅบ.
Have a lovely dayy! ๐ค
