I recently painted this using a reference my followers picked out from a poll. I was honestly hoping they wouldn't pick this one because I knew it was going to be challenging and I was afraid of messing it up.
But I went for it anyway, and it turned out to be such a beautiful experience. It helped me become comfortable with trusting the process, I tend to be controlling and get frustrated when something doesn't look the way I intended it to.
I also suck at backgrounds, especially nature, so most of the time I was just trying to figure it out as I go and hoping it would look right in the end.
I'm really grateful to everyone who voted for that reference, it just makes me very happy looking back on it 🥺.
Have a lovely dayy! 🤍
