I'm based in Sweden but keep my focus on Southern Caucasus. I do mostly freelance work, which consists of both reporting on the ground and investigations. It takes more thime than it pays off monetary, and I'm happy for all support that I can get.

I'm the last foreign journalist who entered Nagorno-Karabakh from the Armenian side (March 2021). My book I Die Slowly Every Day is about this. There are two new chapters from September 2023 as the control of Nagorno-Karabakh fell into the hands of Azerbaijan and caused over 100,000 fleeing the region in fear.
