Well, it's official. We are playing a couple of LIVE shows in the Fall.

The first is a fund raiser for our favorite Salt City music Venue, The 443 Social Club and Lounge, on 10/14/2026

The 443 is developing its 501 C3 Non Profit Status, and this very rare public performance of The Shuffling Hungarians is geared toward supporting the club to fulfill its mission statement.

Tickets were only made available to the members of The 443 VIP program, and sold out within 24 hours of privately announcing the event to the club's network of support. So fans of the band who have been patiently waiting for me to decide if I wanted to play in front of people again ever were obviously a little disappointed about the pop up nature of the event with no warning, and miffed that they couldn't get a ticket.

Fear not, Peeparoos. The 443 fundraiser is just a little behind the scenes peek at the band as it prepares for the main event.

Yes, Virginia, there is a Thanksgiving weekend gift from Big Daddy Santa under the Gravy Boat.

This will be our first performance in front of REAL PEOPLE since 2008.

Be forewarned. Last I checked, the Center has sold over 75% of the available seats in the house. It's advisable that if you want to witness my patented musical high wire act (without a net), you should probably score a ticket sooner than later.

It's been nice collaborating with new faces, and old band mates. And a ton of work, to present our new music from our upcoming release and recording, "The Compendium Of Unruly Caterwauling"

In all honesty folks, the reason I retired from playing LIVE is that I couldn't afford to present the sound I heard in my head. 15 piece bands come with financial demands and constraints that I just couldn't cover.

As most of you that get these blogs know, I had to pivot to a "content production / patronage" business model to actually present a reasonable version of how The Shuffling Hungarians music should sound, and what it should look like.

It was a survival strategy to keep going, and just like "Shake and Bake"? You "HELPED"!

A lot. Shooting 10 finished videos, and producing 10 finished songs that could be competitive on commercial radio, was a daunting task. Some of it was based on talent, some on insane sheer force of will, and some of it was directly underwritten by members of our support network.

So the show? In my mind, its a big ass Shuffling Hungarian Party, and I'm throwing it for YOU... the people that truly believed in me, and the concept of real, homegrown music produced by real, non robots: Some of the finest musicians in the 315.

The Shuffling Hungarians are going to materialize, right in front of your eyes, for a brief moment in time.

And then the whole thing will probably disappear. So don't miss it!

Here's a few rehearsal pix for ya:
