Hey everyone, it's Dom — AKA OGDomTheAtariDJ. 👋
I run a small website dedicated to the first music visualizer ever sold: the Atari Video Music C-240. 📺 Released in 1977, it plugged into your stereo and turned your TV into a live light show — and almost nobody remembers it existed.
[AtariVideoMusic.net](https://atarivideomusic.net/) is the largest Atari Video Music archive online: the complete history, the original patent, schematics, owner's manuals, restoration and recapping guides, period Sears ads, and high-res photography — all in one place. 🗂️
I also run live streams on Twitch, Kick, TikTok, and YouTube 🎮 using real Atari Video Music hardware. No emulation, no plugins — fifty-year-old analog circuitry chewing on music in real time, and it never renders the same pattern twice. ✨
Why the coffee? ☕
This whole project runs on my own dime. If you enjoy the streams, the site, the Trippy Land's Plugin, or Atari Video Anarchy ⛏️ — our community Minecraft server and the official server of the Trippy Land's Plugin — this is where you can help keep it all running.
Support here goes toward:
🌐 Hosting — the domain and server that keep the site online
🎥 Stream gear — capture hardware and production equipment to make the streams better
🧱 Atari Video Anarchy — keeping the server maintained and online
🔧 Everything else — the odds and ends that make all of this possible
No paywalls, no tiers, no locked posts. 🚫 Everything on the site and Atari Video Anarchy stays free whether anyone chips in or not. A coffee just goes straight toward upgrading the gear and improving the services for everyone. 🙌
To everyone who follows along — whether you can throw a few bucks my way or you just drop in to watch — I appreciate you all the same. 💜 I hope my content puts a smile on your face 😄, or at the very least that you appreciate the effort to preserve the Atari Video Music and give the site a quick read.
Have a wonderful day, and I'll see you all in the streams! 🎶
