About OGDomTheAtariDJ
Hey everyone, it's Dom โ AKA OGDomTheAtariDJ. ๐
I run a small website dedicated to the first music visualizer ever sold: the Atari Video Music C-240. ๐บ Released in 1977, it plugged into your stereo and turned your TV into a live light show โ and almost nobody remembers it existed.
[AtariVideoMusic.net](https://atarivideomusic.net/) is the largest Atari Video Music archive online: the complete history, the original patent, schematics, owner's manuals, restoration and recapping guides, period Sears ads, and high-res photography โ all in one place. ๐๏ธ
I also run live streams on Twitch, Kick, TikTok, and YouTube ๐ฎ using real Atari Video Music hardware. No emulation, no plugins โ fifty-year-old analog circuitry chewing on music in real time, and it never renders the same pattern twice. โจ
Why the coffee? โ
This whole project runs on my own dime. If you enjoy the streams, the site, the Trippy Land's Plugin, or Atari Video Anarchy โ๏ธ โ our community Minecraft server and the official server of the Trippy Land's Plugin โ this is where you can help keep it all running.
Support here goes toward:
๐ Hosting โ the domain and server that keep the site online
๐ฅ Stream gear โ capture hardware and production equipment to make the streams better
๐งฑ Atari Video Anarchy โ keeping the server maintained and online
๐ง Everything else โ the odds and ends that make all of this possible
No paywalls, no tiers, no locked posts. ๐ซ Everything on the site and Atari Video Anarchy stays free whether anyone chips in or not. A coffee just goes straight toward upgrading the gear and improving the services for everyone. ๐
To everyone who follows along โ whether you can throw a few bucks my way or you just drop in to watch โ I appreciate you all the same. ๐ I hope my content puts a smile on your face ๐, or at the very least that you appreciate the effort to preserve the Atari Video Music and give the site a quick read.
Have a wonderful day, and I'll see you all in the streams! ๐ถ
