The Windows 98 Disk Defragmenter, faithfully reborn in your browser
Hi 👋 I'm Dennis. You just defragmented a disk that hasn't existed in 25 years, and if those colorful blocks snapping into place scratched an itch you forgot you had, this one's for you.
defrag98.com is free and has no ads, and I'd like to keep it that way. The catch is that the domain and hosting come out of my own pocket, and right now I'm just trying to cover this year's bill. A coffee gets me a piece of the way there, and it's the little signal that says "keep making these," which is honestly what keeps me building them.
One supporter put it better than I can: "the nostalgia it provides is something I didn't know I needed." If you felt that too, buy me a coffee below. Thanks for reliving the '90s with me.

A while back someone left this in a coffee note: could the drive be randomly fragmented, so you actually watch it get cleaned up instead of replaying the same tidy animation? It's live. Every defrag now starts from a fresh, randomly scattered mess, so no two runs look the same. The blocks you're snapping into place are different every time. Go break a drive and put it back together: https://defrag...
Your disks are now randomly fragmented
