About MayOoi Kok
helping people to move better through movement education.
🤸🏻♀️ Human movement has always been my passion. I have been athletic since young, participating in various types of sports but I am especially interested in martial arts. Being an ex-wushu athlete, and have trained in Taekwondo 🥋 and Kick Boxing 🥊, the first-hand experience as a martial artist truly shows the potential of human movement and it fascinates me 🤩.
So during my Master's Degree in Sports Science, I focus on Biomechanics 🕵️♀️ with the goal of bridging the science and my personal experience of human movement, so that I can bring better awareness about the importance of movement health to the public ❤️.
