With this diary I want to share an insight in the everyday life as a creative soul, both the struggles and the wins. Not always long, not always mindblowing, just as life itself..
Today, first day of journal.
Woke up late, way too late to go deerhunting with camera, oops. Drank coffee in bed. Washed clothes.
Then went into editing camp. A family portrait for a customer with a headswap. Yeah well, with three teenagers and a small girl in the frame, the odds for all cool looking in one frame is almost impossible. But iam an editing wizzard and by taking one head from another pic and placed it in the chosen pic, everyone is happy! It came through quality check like a charm. Yes I have this one guy who is a "find the poop-" kind of detective and if he can't find the sewing, noone can. Then all the making the portrait shine and pop. Easy job, but oh how wonderfull it turned out.
Then a little accountant job, a girl gotta give herself a little paycheck now and then.
Oh well next job was one of those neverending stories, where I hope and believe there will be gold and good stories in the end. I have been given access to a womans diary reaching from 1981 to her way too early death in 2016. I am transcripting it in order to learn about her and understand her life and actions. I am so honored to be trusted this job and I really do hope that I can bring her story to life. I am now in year 1999.
On the lighter side, a little some-managing before relocating to house 1, where next days are spent.
