Hi! I’m Magali, the founder and teacher behind Spanishlanglovers. 🇲🇽

I’m a Mexican Spanish teacher, designer, and lifelong language lover. I created Spanishlanglovers because I wanted to teach the kind of Spanish I grew up speaking — the real, everyday Spanish you hear in conversations, with friends and family, at a restaurant, while traveling, or simply living life in Mexico.

Over the years, I’ve taught hundreds of Spanish learners from different countries and backgrounds. And I’ve learned that learning a language is about much more than memorizing grammar and vocabulary.

It’s about feeling comfortable enough to speak.

It’s about understanding the little things that textbooks often leave out.

And sometimes, it’s about feeling closer to a person, a family, or a culture that has become important to you.

That’s why I created Spanishlanglovers. ❤️

Here I share Mexican Spanish, stories, podcast episodes, learning resources, and opportunities to practice — all with the goal of helping you use Spanish in real life and feel more connected to the people and culture around you.
