Help Maddie fight epilepsy.
Maddie is our sweet one-year-old pup who has been diagnosed with idiopathic epilepsy, a serious seizure disorder with no known cause. Recently, Maddie suffered multiple seizures that left him hospitalized. His medical team has been working hard to stabilize him — running bloodwork, checking organ function, and carefully adjusting his medications.
Right now, Maddie’s doctors are using stronger doses of anti-seizure medications like phenobarbital to bring his blood levels up to a safe, therapeutic range. Seizures like his can affect vision, coordination, and quality of life, and he will likely need lifelong treatment and monitoring. Despite all this, Maddie continues to fight with the same loving spirit he’s always shown.
We are raising funds to help cover Maddie’s ongoing hospital care, medications, and the long-term support he’ll need to live as full and happy a life as possible. Every donation goes directly toward giving him the best chance to keep enjoying his days with his family and his doggy siblings who miss him dearly.
