Boudicca, Zenobia, Anne, Theodora
Cleopatra, Catherine and Mary Stuart
Witchy rebels and sultry sirens burning ablaze
These are women who do not know their place
Her story lost when woven in his
Forced into silence to keep the peace
Lost to the victors' libelous pens
Searched out by today's modern lens
Piercing darkness with mortal ken
We found buried truths and obvious lies
Often what happens when bright stars die
