Cathy believes in the power of laughter and is now spreading her message through talks, podcasts and in her weekly online Laughter Yoga club, cathysclub.com.

Have you heard that Laughter is the Best Medicine? It has now been scientifically established that laughter has a profound impact on the mind, body and emotions. Not only does it help to prevent the onset of sickness by boosting the immune system, it also has a preventative healing effect.

Clinical research has proven that laughter lowers the level of stress hormones (epinephrine, cortisol etc.) in the blood and releases the happy chemicals; Dopamine, Oxygen, Serotonin & Endorphins. Have you had your D.O.S.E.? A daily dose of laughter has the power to unwind stress and deliver more joy.

A passionate environmentalist and wellness advocate, Cathy is now bringing laughter to the world. Laughter yoga is not about fancy pants or poses. It is laughter for no reason to encourage a sense of child-like play and feeling of joy. The yoga part is all about the deep breathing. The laughing stretches various muscles in your chest, abdomen, neck & shoulders.
