How, why, who must remain ever a mystery -- did it increase his book sales and popularity? Yes! I must be careful not to write books in a chalet lest I suffer similar untoward fate, shows! Nice lavender however 💜 🌿
Second album in my epic Rochester to Reculver North Kent coast trip, here I choose Sunday Jazz music venue The Eagle Tavern for a pint of Timothy Taylor's 3.7% Knowle Spring, a golden pale ale of honey nectar propensity much enjoyed under city walls by self -- Rochester High Street is Watling Street of roman times, straight as and looooong with charity shops, sweet shops and pubs galore but no takeaways, serious restaurants, butchers, bakers, newsagents, travel shops, card shops, turkish barbers, candlestick makers or watch menders, pill dispensers, clothes shops, souvenir shops, bookshops, model/toy shops, map emporiums or shoe shops, none of those, however there were antique/junk retro shops, a florist and a good old tobacconist!
The music venue hasn't functioned since 2020. There is a cathedral, a castle, a marina, a museum. I departed Rochester for the olde creek hamlet of Oare where I graced the Three Mariners inn with my presence, enjoying a Shepherd Neame Rumour Mill 3.8% all grapefruit citrus and most refreshing - no 🐷 scratchings ..
I then proceeded to Faversham ancient brewing town of Kent which smells of hops, and under the famous Neame brewery walkway, Britain's oldest brewer from 1696 and still brewing strong!
