About Kurjanmiekka
We are documenting our journey from the Finnish forest to the stage
Welcome to the world of Kurjanmiekka. We are a husband-and-wife duo making music where ancient Finnish myths meet rock and electronic sounds. Our songs are built on old Finnish runes and spells. We combine them with our own melodies, which often feel like they are just flowing through us from somewhere in the past. There is a strong shamanic pulse in everything we do. We are just starting this journey, and we want to keep things authentic and raw. By supporting us here, you are helping us create this music and following our story from the very beginning.
You will also help to capture these channeled compositions and spells in the studio. Your contribution goes directly to recording sessions and gear... ok, let’s be honest: While your support helps us cover studio costs, a part of it goes straight into the band’s beer and pizza fund.
Meillä on levyllinen biisejä valmiina äänitettäviksi. Tukemalla meitä autatte meitä äänitysten kustannuksissa, laitehankinnoissa ja kartutatte bändin pizza- ja kaljarahastoa.
