The reviews from the last workshop (Mar 1, 2025) can be found here -
"This workshop is dangerous! I had no idea what I was getting myself into and ended up having the absolute best time.Anshita made everyone feel at such ease from the beginning that we felt comfortable to start writing jokes within 10 minutes. She created a safer atmosphere and we basically spent all day laughing with each other.
Her tools and writing devices are very accessible and she will bring out the best in you and have you share it. The amount of dopamine I released that day alone got me out of my seasonal depression. I genuinely did not think I would go on stage afterwards and I am so glad I did (not without Anshita‘s warm encouragement).
If you get the chance to take this workshop, do not miss it by any means!!!! If only for the laughs and the dopamine boost, even if you are not looking to become a comic, who wouldn’t want to spend a day laughing and meeting lovely ppl?!"

“Anshita has a knack for squeezing the funny out of you, even if you think there’s none to be found. She taps into your worldview, guiding you through the art of standup—whether it’s about poking fun at life or daring to punch up where it counts.
She’s bold, witty and endlessly generous in her workshop - the exact kind of space and guidance you need to feel seen, safe, and celebrated as you wade into comedy’s choppy waters.
The workshop was not just a confidence boost but a reminder of how joyful and bold comedy can be. Highly, highly recommend.”
- Jad Salfiti, Berlin/UK
"I did a workshop with Anshita just before performing stand-up onstage for the first time. When I showed up, I didn't even know how to introduce myself onstage. I had a set, but I didn't feel like it was very cohesive. After the workshop and incorporating Anshita's helpful feedback (she's really good at taking what you have and helping you make it funnier), I felt so confident about my set, and I had a great time at my first comedy open mic!!"
- Dera Luce, Berlin
"I just performed my first ever stand-up of my LIFE! And it's all thanks to Anshita, no doubt about it. We had the workshop the same morning and when I showed up my first thought was - how the hell am I going to write, edit, perform a stand-up set in 4 hours. How indeed. That's the magic of our teacher. She is understanding, patience, super knowledgable and smart as a whip. Her confidence rubbed off on me."
- Deepti, Berlin
"After many years of fantasizing about doing stand up I finally dared and went to Anshita's workshop, they're super lovely and it was an absolute pleasure to share the day and the mic with them later on. I feel humbled and blessed. Thanks so much for being at the beginning of this new adventure."
- Gabi Luna, Paris/Berlin
"I came across Anshita through one of her performances that i witnessed. I shared with them my desire to pursue comedy and then they told me about the workshop. The workshop was beautifully curated and kept in mind the needs of people from all backgrounds and needs. It was full of well thought out activities to teach us the thought process that goes into making anything from a ''joke' to a complete set. One of the funniest, friendliest and kindest bunch of people I ever come across! This was my most memorable day in Germany, thanks Anshita, words are not enough! So i will just scream! Xoxo❤️"
- Amy, Berlin
"I signed up for Anshita’s workshop without even reading the full announcement. The workshop was very fun, felt natural. Not even for a second I felt inadequate or out of space. I also appreciated how well structure and flexible the workshop was for people with different needs. In the end, performing at the open mic wasn’t even a question for me. Anshita takes you step by step on how to craft your first set, present, and see what needs to be adjusted. The workshop crowd is a separate 5stars. Everybody was very funny, positive, and supportive. I would do the workshop again just to experience that :)"
- Anita Azizi, Berlin
"For years I'd been so scared to try standup and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The group in the workshop was so warm and diverse and excited. I enjoyed the exercises and Anshita really opened my eyes to the simple ways to get a laugh. She also had 4 great pro acts to expose us to more ways to be a comedian and round out the experience. I almost chose not to do the open mic out of fear but this was the best way to do it. Anshita created an amazing space to learn and for our first performances. The audience was a supportive dream. 100% recommend and I'm now so motivated to keep going. I'll never forget this day :)"
- Erika Toli, Berlin
"What a fantastic experience! Anshita is the most wonderful teacher, role model and hype person anyone could wish for. i've been looking forward to taking their workshop for MONTHS and it did not disappoint. Super informative, incredible fun, and no delayed gratification cause we all got to perform the same night! ❤️"
- Dori, Berlin/Budapest.
"Anshita's comedy workshop was organized so thoughtfully it put a beginner like me at ease. They not only lay out the structure of doing comedy but brought out the best version of the stories we each had to tell.Their workshop is one not to be missed, from their way of holding space to making the people feel welcomed and comfortable. All in all, had a ball being a part of it!"
