Proper Insurance's $50 Referral Promo Looks to be Already Shut Down!
Yesterday, a handful of referrers stumbled upon a referral promotion Proper Insurance is offering, which advertised $50 referral bonuses when you refer others who sign up and obtain a rental insurance quote (no purchase necessary). I wouldn't say this promotion reached "viral" status as I could only find 5-6 people referring it, but those referrers are pretty active in Referral World and promoted it heavily yesterday.
Here's what I've gathered in my research so far:
1) Proper was offering $50 referral bonuses that they state get paid out quarterly
2) Referrers received emails from the company each time they were credited for a successful signup
3) Those emails stopped coming sometime last night
4) The handful of referral links I tried using this morning all go to a blank page (although the main non-referral link still goes to a signup form with the referral promotion information).
The blank page issue may be a temporary issue due to unexpected site traffic. It may also be an indication of the promotion being suspended. This is always a risk with "new! new! new!" companies once their promotion goes viral. I'm also getting word that a few "bad apple" referrers have actively encouraged people to sign up through them and then self-refer by creating fake accounts to earn more bonuses. To those referrers, I say as a reminder....
I'll monitor this promotion and post any updates. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the referral bonuses that were legitimately earned are rewarded to the referrers who introduced this to Referral World!

Huge Payouts from PrizePool, Ownli, and Grifin!
PrizePool, Ownli, and Grifin have been my whales so far this week, and it's only Tuesday! Just yesterday, I banked another $50 from PrizePool ($450 since signing up last month). I cashed out $130.50 since signing up for Ownli on 5/7, and I've already banked $30 from Grifin, whose $5 signup and $30 referral bonus promo returned less than 24 hours ago!

New: Vida - Free Virtual Number Plus $1 Referral Bonuses!

A new app called Vida hit Referral World this week. Based on my research, Vida looks to be a hybrid of Google Voice and AI. Vida promotes itself as "the AI-powered number and email that blocks unwanted spam by gating who can reach you."
I just signed up for Vida today. The signup process was simple, and I was able to claim a free virtual phone number. One thing I noticed right away is that there were several options available in my area code, something I haven't seen from Google Voice in a while. I was asked for minimal info, just my name and actual phone number, which I had to verify.
Once you sign up and claim your free virtual number, you are also given a referral link you can share with others. You'll earn $1 for every successful signup.
Since this app is so new—I just signed up today—I don't yet have information on how quickly bonuses are paid. That said, I have seen pay proof, and it's apparently a quick turnaround, paying out to your choice of bank, PayPal, or Venmo. At this point, I consider this to be TESTING.

BMAC Technical Difficulties!
RWN has been using buymeacoffee, a popular blog site, to host these RWN newsletters. For the past few days, buymeacoffee (BMAC) has a site bug that hasn't been allowing most new image uploads (the few you can see on this page have been copied/pasted from previous posts.
