Dean recently recounted an adventure where he ran into Robin 89, a version of Robin Hood from 1989. This version of Robin Hood stole powers/talents from the rich/those who abuse their gifts and gave them to the poor/those who would use them correctly.
During the adventure, Dean learned that Robin 89 was not alone in this endeavor; there were countless versions of Robin Hood and other Hood characters working together aboard a rift ship called the Sherwood Forest, which silly enough was much, much bigger on the inside.
Eventually, Dean found out why he’d unexpectedly zapped there. These Merry Men were betrayed by Littl3 J0hn, a cyborg version of Little John. Dean and Robin 89 won the battle, but the Sherwood Forest was destroyed. The crew escaped but were scattered. Dean offered the services of BLT, but Robin 89 refused saying he didn’t trust “big business.”
Robin Hood and similar characters fall within the public domain.
