Hey folks! 👋
I've got some big news to share — and I'm pretty excited about this one! 🎈
✨ I'm moving the Live ISO to Wayland!
Yep, you read that right! 🎉 KDE/Plasma is making Wayland its default, and I think it's time for me to follow along. So in 2026, the live session on our ISO will run on Wayland. The world out there is ready — and I want your very first look at EndeavourOS to be as modern and smooth as it deserves to be. 💫
Nvidia users:
The Nvidia boot option is back to be optional!
The default boot runs on the free nouveau driver.
The Nvidia option brings the proprietary drivers right along.
And the best part: booting the ISO will auto-resolve common issues on different Nvidia hardware. Fewer "why won't this thing boot?!" moments. 🙌
That's it for now —
As always: thank you for being part of this journey. Your feedback and support keep me rolling.
Stay curious, stay colorful! 🌈
