🚀 EndeavourOS 2026: Wayland, here we come!

Hey folks! 👋

I've got some big news to share — and I'm pretty excited about this one! 🎈

✨ I'm moving the Live ISO to Wayland!

Yep, you read that right! 🎉 KDE/Plasma is making Wayland its default, and I think it's time for me to follow along. So in 2026, the live session on our ISO will run on Wayland. The world out there is ready — and I want your very first look at EndeavourOS to be as modern and smooth as it deserves to be. 💫

Nvidia users:

The Nvidia boot option is back to be optional!

• The default boot runs on the free nouveau driver.

• The Nvidia option brings the proprietary drivers right along.

• And the best part: booting the ISO will auto-resolve common issues on different Nvidia hardware. Fewer "why won't this thing boot?!" moments. 🙌

That's it for now —

As always: thank you for being part of this journey. Your feedback and support keep me rolling.

Stay curious, stay colorful! 🌈
