Welcome, reader! I am a poet, writer and workshop facilitator inspired by the power of language to create empathic connections and to build hope and power in a politically and psychologically challenging climate. I am currently traveling in Southeast Asia and using this site to share poetry and musings inspired by my journey. My study/ work background: I studied English Literature and Spanish at Durham University and a PGCert in Teaching Creative Writing at Cambridge University, and have devised and delivered workshops in diverse charity, education and community settings, including at Freedom From Torture and The Pret Foundation. Professional experiences in social care and SEN teaching, and of living in Latin America and Spain, have informed my writing and perspective. I am committed to being a socially aware and impactful creative, using my platform to raise awareness about mental health and other issues close to my heart. If you enjoy my writing and would like to see more of it, please consider buying me a coffee and contributing directly towards the caffeine habit that makes it possible. I love pouring myself and my time into my art and am grateful for your support. Thank you for being here, and have a beautiful day.
