I’m a journalist and media trainer with a particular interest in institutional capture, freedom of speech and women’s rights.

My reporting has appeared in publications including The Telegraph, the Mail on Sunday, UnHerd, spiked and GB News. I returned to journalism in January 2026 after spending eight years running a successful communications and digital-marketing business.

Before that, I worked as a freelance journalist, editor and journalism lecturer, writing mainly for the Guardian on education and social policy.

I’m the founder of [Un]Captured, an independent Substack investigating institutional capture - and the route back to purpose, impartiality and public trust.

I’m also working on Please Don’t Share My Name: The Hidden Cost of Speaking Up for Women - which will share the quieter, often overlooked stories of people whose livelihoods and relationships have been affected by gender ideology.

I’m also Director of Seen in Journalism, a professional network committed to restoring accuracy and impartiality to reporting on sex and gender.
