Troyan Trip

Troyan is one of the beautiful cities in the mountains. In the middle of Bulgaria, it is surrounded by very colorful peaks and woods. The river called Beli Osam runs through Troyan and separates it into halves, something like Danube and Budapest. This medieval town is one very picturesque location with a very big history background. I love all the old houses, the whole atmosphere and the sunsets and sunrises in the whole valley. Our village is called Terziysko and it is 15 km away from downtown Troyan. This place is like film photography you should take you to breathe and feel the moment. It is the perfect definition of time traveling. There is only one shop and it is open every morning and evening only for a couple of hours. For me, this is the perfect place to rest and reset. The aroma from the gardens is priceless. From our garden, I get one very good perspective of the milky-way, because in front of our house there are three not so big peaks, but they create a very good composition. This is a very peaceful moment for me every evening I am watching the sunset, which is lightning the hills from the back, and after that, while listening to the songs of the birds and especially the melody of the crickets I watch the stars shining and the movement of the milky-way. I love making astrophotography from our garden for a couple of reasons, first, there is not so much light pollution, second, it's peaceful, and third that freshly grown tomatoes I can't resist, I ate a lot. I took a bit of landscape photography as well, there's one place called "Skoka", it's located on one little bay. There's a big rock and the natives use it as a jump, the water is deep enough. There are some waterfalls, small, not big but very tempting for photography. Skoka is perfect for a weekend family trip with a barbecue and a lot of fun. I was lucky because it's very hot this week and I manage to photograph it when there was nobody. For three years this was the first time when we were alone there. While I am here I adore doing architecture photography, all the small houses from different decades, some of them abandoned, some of them still in use. I like their design everything in them shows their souls. It may sound strange but for me, every building has its soul and they are beautiful. The road between Terzysko and Ribarica is maybe my favorite road in Bulgaria. Driving through the mountains, the landscape is a breath taker I love it, all the peaks, the trees, the nomads, that use to live in the woods and work as woodworkers. There are so many free horses, that live the best life ever with the best view. The color pallet is priceless. I may say that it is taken from PANTONE or Pantone take it from nature. I love going to the mountains I like hiking, but this vacation I used to drive not walk because of medical reasons ..........it was a good photography trip. For this trip, I took my Canon 6d mk2 with 24-105, my 24mm, and 50mm. Also as a second DSLR, I took my Nikon d7100, the one I used in the Usung cameras project with the Tokina 12-21 f4 and Nikkor 75-300 plastic one. And that's the last time I used this camera because the AF motor broke and after that, I don't know why there was a sensor fault, I like it. I may be a Canon boy for my professional work, but I like this camera. For my film photography, I took my Canon 500n, so I can use my lenses and one very interesting camera that I received as a present a week ago, I will talk about it when I develop the negatives.
