Disciplined practice guided by an outstanding teacher/mentor is essential to developing exceptionally high quality performance. (Subotnik et al., 2007).
Imagine we each had access to mentor who would create practice sessions for us and provide us with feedback, I think maybe we can take that approach when someone gives us tips or feedback when we are doing our daily activities, maybe see that person as a mentor who is guiding us to better our performance?
