I find that life can sometimes be a bit of a slog, just one humdrum day after another. But every so often, if I am paying attention, another reality breaks in. It might be the sight of wild geese in the sky, a moment of connection with another person, a phrase of music or an answered prayer. I want to be alert to these possibilities and I want to build a community of people to join me on the quest for joy, meaning and the Kingdom of God. PS Sometimes you'll just get a wee snapshot of what's going on in my head and that's always have much to do with this quest!

Recently I heard someone talk about her father, who had passed away. "Yes," she said, thinking how to describe him. "He loved God.
