Ah Venice, the city at the top of almost everyone’s bucket list. And, for good reason. Venice is beautiful, historic….and crowded. You haven’t seen crowds until you’ve tried to get a table at Caffè Florian on St. Mark’sSquare or cross the Rialto Bridge in July.
But, the hassles are so worth it. The Rialto Market, early in the morning when the fishermen bring their catchin, riding across the Grand Canal for a couple Euro in a classic Traghetti, sipping a Select Spritz next to acanal, or munching Cicchetti at a local Bacari are unforgettable memories.
In this food & travel guide, I’ll give you my favorite spots to eat and drink in Venice, including some hiddengems. Plus, some tips for saving money and avoiding the lines in this expensive and busy Italian city.
