This metal sculpture has soft curves and nature inspired mirror images from left to right. Not normally what you might think of when you hear the words; metal sculpture.
This is my representation of a uterus. I found inspiration from how many depict this organ with flowers but I began my sketches in a different way with the vases that hold these flowers.
Those long skinny necks that bloom outwards to have such large round bodies of water. They aren't ideal for more than a flower or two but give the stems more than plentiful space for stability. That shape felt feminine to me. Simple, elegant, and incredibly un-proportioned for the life it holds.
