Building syn-co.me — a visual timeline for teams

Hey! I'm Denis 👋

I've spent 15 years building web products and led distributed teams. Migrated systems. Shipped features.

Along the way: built a house, moved countries (twice), started running, launched projects that failed.

Now I'm building:

→ syn-co.me — a timezone tool for remote teams. No sign-ups, no tracking, just works.

→ time tracker — a minimalist logger to understand where your time actually goes. No productivity BS, just awareness. Built it for myself, now testing with others.

I'm also writing about:

→ building in public

→ making simple tools that respect your time

→ running (because debugging code while running clears the mind)

Your support helps me:

- Keep syn-co.me and time tracker free and ad-free

- Build more tools that don't waste people's time

- Keep running and sharing the journey

But honestly? I'm just as happy if you follow along and say hi occasionally.

Let's build something good together.

Hey everyone! I wanted to share what I've been working on lately with my project, Syn-co.me - a tool that helps teams stop doing timezone math in their heads. Over the past few days, I've been heads-down building and improving this thing, and honestly, it's been quite a journey. Let me walk you through what's been happening. The Big Push: Three Days, 25+ Commits So here's the thing - I started wit...

6:30 AM, sipping coffee, thinking about how many times I've scheduled calls at someone's dinner time by accident. So I made https://syn-co.me . Simple timeline showing when everyone's working. No mental math required. Problem solved, more coffee. Best part — share your team's timeline with one link. No accounts, no invites, no "please sign up first." Just share the URL and everyone sees the same...

It's January 8th on the calendar. Time to get back to training. My training never really stopped, though there were a couple of weeks in a lighter mode. That was preparation for eating all those holiday salads 😀. Until today, all workouts were fairly simple. Well, at least they didn't seem difficult. But today, intervals are on the schedule. 200x200 x8. Sounds straightforward until you think ab...
