I have a leaky heart valve that my doc figures is NOT serious enough to be contributing to my inability to climb steep hills on my bicycle. My stress test, although it was concluded successfully, did reveal some suspicious extra electric signals from the control system of my heart. So I will soon be wearing a monitor for two weeks.
The monitor will record everything about my heart's activity, as I understand it. During that two weeks, I will keep a diary to accompany that record.
If that monitor's record does not suffice to indicate the precise problem, I will be sent to the cardiac electronic department (inexact title) where they will implant a device under my skin that will record FOR A YEAR my heart's activity.
One hopes that'll do it.
I do not know if I will be able to ride my bike during all this activity. I hope so and Tamar hopes so.
We do know that my heart and lungs function well. There's a problem in the electrics.
