Hi! I'm Jo, creator of A Zen Mind guided meditations.
I began creating Guided Meditations in 2020, with the intention to help others in their personal journeys of mindfulness, stress relief, and inner peace.
I hope that these meditations can help you access and nourish the power within yourself, seek moments of tranquility, and align with your highest self.
I create these meditations purely from the desire to help others. Putting my efforts into something that benefits others is incredibly fulfilling to me.
I choose not to use advertisements in any of my meditations, because I truly believe that when you dedicate time to unwind and meditate, it should be used for just that. You shouldn't be worried about listening to a sales pitch before you relax your mind.

The combination of the beautiful background sounds, compassionate voice tone and script is awesome. I’ve been blown away how much meditation has helped me the last year 😊.
My health had deteriorated with autoimmune conditions, depression, mood swings and anxiety over the years after I moved into a new home 9 years ago. I made it through a hopeless time listening to your podcast last year when I developed MCAS and POTS. When I learned I was experiencing mold illness from hidden mold in the walls of a humid home with a roof and shower leak I continued to listen, to get through really hard days and uncertainty.
By moving, avoiding mold and antioxidants the debilitating pain, fatigue and most symptoms began to lift almost immediately. I kept practicing working on deep breathing or just listening when I was fearful, stuck, tired, grouchy. I love how much I learned about my mind in these slow calm 3-10-minute sessions. I can notice with compassion flashes of fleeting hurtful thoughts like no one loves me, recognize that as a thought, I’m ok, it’s not true and then act. Maybe I need to plan something fun with my husband, best friend, puppy, kids, or maybe I simply need to ask for help on something. It’s great😊!
It took a year and I never expected this. Well, I’m coping with stress without as many bad habits, I just enjoy chocolate and wine and don’t think of them constantly 😅 So I can calmly survive any possible chocolate shortages!
