๐—๐—ผ๐˜€๐—ฒ๐—ฝ๐—ต ๐—›๐—ฎ๐˜†๐—ฑ๐—ป was born on March 31st or April 1st, 1732 in Austria and is considered one of the great composers of the (Vienna) Classical Period. Most of his time he spent as a court musician at the Esterhรกzy family's court in Hungary. He says that during this time he had to be original because he lived isolated from other composers. He is often called the "๐—™๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐—ผ๐—ณ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—ฆ๐˜†๐—บ๐—ฝ๐—ต๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜†" and the "๐—™๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐—ผ๐—ณ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—ฆ๐˜๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—ค๐˜‚๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐˜๐—ฒ๐˜".

The following video plays the "๐—ž๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐˜€๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ต๐˜†๐—บ๐—ป๐—ฒ" oder "๐—ž๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐˜€๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—พ๐˜‚๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐˜๐—ฒ๐˜๐˜" (Emperor's Hymn or Quartet) or "๐—š๐—ผ๐˜๐˜ ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—น๐˜๐—ฒ ๐—™๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐˜‡ ๐—ฑ๐—ฒ๐—ป ๐—ž๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐˜€๐—ฒ๐—ฟ" (God save Francis the Emperor). The lyrics were written by Lorenz Leopold Haschka for the Austrian Emperor Franz II (Francis II). Haydn wrote the music in 1796/97. When you listen to it, you will immediately recognize it as the music to The text for the anthem (๐——๐—ฎ๐˜€ ๐—Ÿ๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐—ฑ ๐—ฑ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐——๐—ฒ๐˜‚๐˜๐˜€๐—ฐ๐—ต๐—ฒ๐—ป) was written by Hoffmann von Fallersleben in 1841.

The footage accompanying the music is from the time of the late Austrian empire.
