How People Measure Grief? The Illusion of the 3D Matrix

Oct 17, 2026

imageLately, I have been noticing a certain phenomenon more and more often. Depending on the losses and transformations people undergo, they sometimes start measuring the depth and volume of the pain they experience. In simple terms - measuring grief. Who has suffered more, whose pain is heavier, deeper, and who deserves more support, compassion, and pity.

People are used to evaluating the scale of what has been experienced exclusively by external criteria: material loss, loss of loved ones, visible physical destruction. But this is quite a narrow, three-dimensional view.

After all, in this state, a person almost always sees their grief from the position of their own ego, and therefore their pain seems absolute to them, as if there is no other soul in the Universe that has experienced or is experiencing something similar. As if their loss is the greatest of all possible losses. The ego always compares and divides the tears of others.

This is how the programs of the 3D matrix work in human consciousness, always demanding proof and accustomed to measuring everything with logic, facts, and visual confirmations.

Soul Experience and the Illusion of Ego

Let me remind you that the Absolute sees not the body, but the experience of the soul gained in different dimensions of the Universe.

The average person living within the limitations of the 3D matrix is incapable of comprehending even the volume of their own soul, let alone the experience of other souls. But when we begin to see the level of souls, the knowledge comes that there are no unique states. There is a certain experience that the soul consciously chose to live through at a specific moment of incarnation. No one specially created or imposed this experience on it except itself.

After all, the experience of the soul is not limited to the current incarnation. A person can carry within themselves a deep, clear understanding of a certain pain or state, even if they have not physically encountered it in this life.

A well-known example of this is the writing of the Vedic treatise “Kama Sutra”. 3D-society has distorted it into a primitive perception, although this treatise is completely dedicated to the relationships and duties of a man and a woman at all stages of life in a dual world. It was written by a person who was a monk in their current life, and the knowledge was revealed through a meditative state as a memory of accumulated soul experience.

All of this is explained quite simply: the soul always knows the lived experience and all the emotions associated with it. It can unconsciously remember this experience, from past incarnations or subtle planes, even if its physical body has not touched it in the current life.

A person does not necessarily have to lose someone or something for their soul to feel that loss. The soul’s memory stores everything, so people often simply recall these feelings when they see a similar experience in others. But if someone tries to say this out loud, they instantly receive invalidating words: “You haven’t lived through this, you can’t know this”.

Two Components of Pain

When we talk about going through difficult states, it is necessary to clearly separate two components: physical and emotional pain.

Physical pain is felt by our physical body through the subtle etheric body. If the etheric body turns off for a certain period or its sensitivity decreases, a person does not feel physical pain at all. At such moments, the etheric layer disconnects. A person can receive a serious injury or trauma and not even notice it at the moment of the event, later being surprised at how and when it happened.

Emotional pain is the pain that the consciousness of the soul receives. It is precisely this pain that is engraved into the experience of the soul, transformed, and turned into pure, deep knowledge.

The Multidimensionality of the Soul and the Experience of Dreams

Let us return to the understanding that the soul is multidimensional. It never sleeps. It does not need rest because it is a spark of the eternal Divine Light of the Absolute. Our sleep is merely a process when we put the physical body on recharge, like a phone on a charging station.

While our physical body rests, other aspects of our soul’s consciousness simultaneously gain experience in different worlds and dimensions. What we call “prophetic” or extraordinarily realistic dreams is the living of another reality outside the physical body.

That is why in a dream we can feel completely real pain, physical joy, emotional shock, or happiness. This is a full-fledged, real experience of the soul gained in another dimension.

Waking up after such dreams, the soul knows, feels, and remembers well the experience it received during the physical body’s sleep. This is a vivid example of how the subtle structure of soul consciousness works separately from the physical shell. When it leaves the body, we completely cease to feel the physical form.

Sometimes we do not remember dreams, or it seems to us that we do not dream at all. Here everything depends on the state of consciousness the soul is in during its earthly incarnation. But the soul constantly receives experience, regardless of whether we see dreams or not, remember them or do not remember them.

For example: in the current life, one person experiences the loss of a loved one on the earthly, physical plane, while another soul experienced a similar loss on the subtle plane (in a dream, in another dimension, or knows the feeling of this experience from past lives). Can these emotional experiences of the soul be called identical?

Of course. In both cases, the soul felt the full spectrum of the pain of loss. It has already received this experience and undergone the transformation necessary for it. Therefore, in the current life, such an experience is no longer lived through, but the soul level knows about the pain endured. That is why often in the hardest periods of their lives, people can receive emotional support from those who have not lived through a similar experience in their current physical life.

Thus, claiming that someone has not experienced something on the physical plane and therefore has no right to know or understand is a fundamental error of human 3D-perception. A person can carry this experience within, remember it, and live it at the level of the soul.

Grief is Not a Competition

Grief does not need to be turned into a competition, much less demeaned or glorified. Every soul always passes through the state of loss in due time. This is one side of dual life from which no soul can escape.

Every person lives through pain with the volume of strength they can withstand in a specific timeframe. That is why it is impossible to create a scale on which human losses could be arranged from smallest to largest. There is no unit of measurement for human grief. We can only see the external event. But we never see the full experience of the soul. Because the depth of pain, its experience, and its transformation are fully seen only by the Absolute.

We are all souls who have reincarnated countless times and passed through the most diverse spectrums of karmic experiences. That is why the attempt to measure the level of misfortunes looks out of place. Everyone goes through their own unique path of unpacking experience, and the only thing we can do instead of evaluating is to respect the path of every soul.
