Declaration 2026 (Handwritten Digital PDF)

The Declaration of Independence for Rights of Citizen Representation and Direct Democracy— created in solidarity with the No Kings Movement — is offered as a voluntary, symbolic participation activity of the citizen-led Third Continental Congress, styled the Civic Congress. You may print your personal copy and, if you wish, add your individual civic expression and your date of participation during the 250th anniversary year of the United States, as a private symbolic gesture of participation. Following the tradition of Thomas Paine’s Common Sense—sold for a shilling in 1776 to encourage public engagement—supporters may contribute $3 or more to sustain the work and mission of the Civic Congress.


Notice: Do not post or share your handwritten signature online or on social media. Public exposure of handwritten signatures increases the risk of identity theft. Your signed copy is intended strictly for private archiving and may be preserved as a family keepsake. Participation is symbolic, and creates no legal rights or obligations, and is not affiliated with the United States government. Any optional notarization you may choose to obtain is entirely at your own discretion and may increase your personal costs. All legal matters or expenses related to notarization or private use are solely your responsibility and not that of The Continental Congress Project, LLC™ (CivicCongress.US), which does not collect or store any signed copies. Citizen-Led Third Continental Congress

Support Civic Congress and advance United States citizen-led democracy!

Contribute toward the effort in either or both of the following ways:

1. Through Pledge — Donate to vetted and verified nonprofits supporting civic engagement—some contributions may be tax-deductible. These donations are completely separate from the Civic Congress and Buy Me a Coffee.

EXAMPLE: In solidarity with the #NoKingsMovement: pledge.to/civiccongress or text 707070 with the message PRIMARIES to donate.

2. Through Buy Me a Coffee — Support Membership, Shop items, and participate in creative projects on the community Homepage. Contributions are non–tax-deductible, and 1.5% of each fee goes to Stripe Climate carbon-removal projects.

EXAMPLE: The platform provides a community of citizens to learn from each other about citizen-led democracy. Participation is voluntary, peaceful, and symbolic. The Continental Congress Project, LLC™ (CivicCongress.US) is an independent, non-government civic initiative with an emphasis on direct democracy within the applicable 26 states and Washington, D.C.
