Hello friends! 

Thanks for buying me a coffee! I'm a single, working mom who has homeschooled my kids all the way from preschool to high school. My oldest is thriving at the university and my youngest is homeschooling high school. I'm an artist, writer and content creator, with an emphasis on uplifting messages.

My blog went viral a few years ago with my article Homeschooling is Not the Same as Crisis Schooling.  I was a public school teacher for 12 years and I have been homeschooling my own kids since 2007. I've also spent 7 years working as an educational consultant in the homeschooling arena. I've been doing education in one capacity or other for many years. So many friends were asking me for help when they were suddenly thrust into schooling at home, I decided to write an article so I didn't have to say the same things over and over. To my surprise, it went viral and got almost a million views! I  had no idea it would speak to that many people around the world!

I have a passion for art, writing and being an encourager. I now create videos that showcase my art, my art process and art tutorials, combined with uplifting and positive messages.
