I’m a senior IT professional, a two-time Army combat veteran, a husband, a father, and—most recently—a grandfather. For years, I’ve been obsessed with Everyday Carry (EDC) gear. My drawers are full of it. Some of it is incredible; some of them are... well, "stinkers."

I didn't start Zesty EDC to be a professional gear tester. I started it to show you what’s actually in my pockets and on my shelves.
This isn't about chasing the latest $300 titanium trend. This is about the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly of a real-world collection. I’m just a guy sharing what I’ve bought with my own money—helping the "Average Joe" find gear that is functional, affordable, and practical for life’s everyday missions (like fixing a toy, opening a box, or surviving a weekend soccer game).
