Hello again,
it has been quite some time since the last update and there is a reason for this. Derega, our artist working on portraits for those who do not know, had technical issues and to replace his computer. Once that was done there was a large rework necessary on his own mod which had put our project on a temporary hold which is now over as you have likely guessed, given you are reading an update ;)
So, last time I wrote about it, the plan was to finish up the Orila portrait by adding cybernetic variations to it, just like those portraits from the Machine Age DLC have. This is now underway and I do not come with empty hands.
Here are some pictures to show the two cybernetic tiers:

They are not absolutely final, but pretty close at this point. As you can see there is quite a bit of variety here and add to that the three skin tones which can be seen on the majority of the cybernetic version it should give your leaders a more memorable look.
Work on those should be finished somewhere in september, after which work on the broken clock aliens will begin.
Speaking of which, our goal has been reached for all three different species portraits and a whole lot more. So let me use this moment to thank everyone who has supported us. Without you these additions would not be possible.
There is still more after those planned, for example the Sadrell (Orphan Gate) with cybernetic variant and others I will reveal later, as what I just named will take quite some time already for Derega to do.
What happened with the mod beside the portraits? Well, the answer might be a bit unsatisfying, but of the things done in the meantime little is worthy of showing off by itself for now. There has been bugfixing, some minor reworks and additions to existing content as well as some progress on the Ancient Protector project.
Beside that, I've created a Wiki for our mod, which is still under construction in many places and will require quite a bit of work to fill in all the gaps. Anyone, who would like to add stuff there is welcome. You can find it here: http://more-events-mod.wikidot.com/
