My dear friends,
Another trip around the sun ๐. Another chance to reflect, to feel grateful, and to grow deeper into myself. As many of you know, the past year has been a colorful mix of change, clarity, and choosing peace over battles. Iโve been learning to let life come through me instead of chasing it โ and the results have been surprisingly beautiful.
This July 22, Iโll be turning 59 โ just one more year until I complete a full cycle of the Chinese calendar. How did that happen so fast?! This year, Iโll be celebrating my birthday quietly at home, just me and my darling Cloรฉ, with my heart stretched out to all of you, both near and far. I promise: next year, weโre throwing a big party ๐ for Kanreki - the Full Circle.

I also wanted to share a little beauty from earlier this year โ I was at home in Japan during May and June, and the roses from the garden were in full bloom. Iโve included a photo of them just below. I hope they bring a bit of joy to your screen, as they did to my days.
