OUR JOURNEY
On June 1, 2026, we happily retired from the business we built for more than 30 years and pointed our compass north toward the adventure of a lifetime.
What started as a dream slowly became a plan… and then finally became reality.
With our 4th Gen Toyota 4Runner — YOLA — packed for the road ahead, we left Pleasanton, California to begin a slow, immersive journey across the world with hopes of reaching all seven continents over the next 3–5 years.
EVERY MILE HAS A STORY
This journey isn't simply about driving across continents.
It's about the people we meet, the cultures we experience, the unexpected detours, and the moments that remind us just how connected this world really is.
Through You Only Live Adventure, our mission is to share those stories honestly—the beauty, the challenges, the breakdowns, the laughter, and the unforgettable moments that come with life on the road.
Whether it's a remote mountain pass, a shared meal with new friends, or an unforgettable conversation around a campfire, we hope our stories inspire others to dream a little bigger, embrace the unknown, and discover just how incredible this world really is.
